another shoe & other bits

Thought I'd try out my new pencils with some sketches, although I think I need to go larger again in pencil size and try a different way of combining charcoal and graphite.

For quick figurework, the graphite pencils work well, but I need to also play with surfaces before I find my ideal combo..
